Eng Salim bin Nasser al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals, convened yesterday with Arifin Tasrif, Indonesian Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, in Jakarta to explore avenues for enhanced bilateral cooperation in the energy and minerals sectors.
The discussions aimed at fortifying the partnership between Oman and Indonesia, focusing on sharing expertise and fostering collaboration in these crucial fields.
As part of the visit, Al Aufi and his delegation toured several leading Indonesian energy companies.
These visits provided insights into cutting-edge innovations and pioneering projects, showcasing the latest technologies and advancements within the Indonesian energy sector. In addition to these company visits, the Omani delegation engaged in multiple meetings with Indonesian officials.
They presented a series of visual presentations highlighting potential areas for cooperation and expertise exchange, aiming to unlock new opportunities in the energy and minerals domains.
The meeting was also attended by Shaikh Mohammed bin Ahmed al Shanfari, Ambassador of Oman to Indonesia, along with several other prominent Omani officials.
