OCC’s journey began in 1978, as part of the renaissance led by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said. The company launched its cement plant in 1983 with an initial clinker capacity of 600,000 metric tons annually. In response to growing regional demand, OCC expanded its plant capacity to 1.2 million metric tons per year in 1998 and later installed a cement grinding mill in 2006 with a capacity of 3,000 metric tons daily. By 2011, the addition of a third clinker line increased total production capacity to 2.4 million metric tons annually.
Today, Oman Cement Company stands as a beacon of strength, innovation, and sustainability, delivering high-performance cement products for Oman’s infrastructure and exporting Oil Well Cement to international markets.
