The Omani-Yemeni Forum for Facilitating Investment, organised by the branch of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) in Dhofar Governorate, will discuss ways to enhance trade and economic relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Yemen, as well as leveraging investment opportunities available in various fields.
The forum will be held on January 24 and 25 at the Sultan Qaboos Youth Complex for Culture and Entertainment in Salalah, and it targets entrepreneurs, investors, and owners of small and medium-sized projects in the two countries.
Naif bin Hamed Fadel, Head of the branch of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Dhofar Governorate, stated that the forum aims to enhance economic partnership and cooperation between the Omani and Yemeni sides by providing integrated service, industrial, and tourist projects, in addition to facilitating opportunities for Yemeni companies and businessmen to familiarize themselves with the investment incentives and advantages in the Sultanate of Oman, exchange experiences and information, promote innovation and new developmental ideas, and strategic initiatives of economic feasibility.
The forum will also discuss investment and development sectors, as well as investment and economic cooperation, and the most important features of investing in the country according to the Oman Vision 2040.
The forum includes discussion sessions that highlight the main potentials and investment opportunities in the commercial, industrial, and tourism sectors in the Sultanate of Oman, with the participation of speakers from government entities, the private sector, experts, decision-makers, as well as an exhibition for some Omani companies.
